Lynne is a doctor, author and international speaker on cancer and nutrition.
Experience:
Lynne spent 15 years helping individuals navigate their way through the initial stages of a cancer diagnosis as a primary care physician and patient advocate.
Empassioned by a desire to educate the public about lifestyle practices that may reduce the risk or recurrence of cancer, she left private practice and now leads university lectures and seminars for cancer survivor groups across the United States.
As a physician, caregiver, and volunteer "cancer coach" who assists her community members by answering questions, accompanying them to appointments and providing emotional support, Lynne is intimately in touch with how what happens in the doctor's office affects one's life.
Lynne completed her residency in family medicine through the University of Minnesota Hospitals, and has conducted research in the area of public health and the environment. She is also co-author of Avoiding Cancer One Day at a Time (Beaver's Pond Press).

I have found that having a basic understanding of cancer, and knowing what questions to ask to learn more about your particular situation, can make this difficult time a bit easier to navigate.
