Definition:

Radon is an odorless gas that results from the normal decay of uranium in the soil. Elevated radon levels have been found in homes in all 50 states in the U.S. and around the world. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer, and the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers in the United States. The only way to know if you are at risk, is to test your home for radon.
