Radon in the home is the second leading cause of lung cancer, yet too few people have tested their homes for this invisible killer. Radon contributes to lung cancer in non-smokers even more than secondhand smoke, but we don't hear about radon as frequently. I have met too many people who wish they had been aware of the risk of radon and tested their homes earlier. Do you have a story to share about radon in your home? What prompted you to test for radon? What did you have to do to repair the problem? How would you motivate someone who has not tested their home to have it tested? Please share your story.
