Loss of appetite is a common symptom during cancer treatment. Not only can loss of appetite cause weight loss, but it can lessen your ability to tolerate treatments and lower your quality of life. Some people find that eating small meals frequently is helpful. Others try to snack on high-calorie foods, such as nuts and ice cream. Methadone (for nerve pain) caused severe loss of appetite & nausea even after discontinued use. After trying a few different medications which didn't work. I turned to cannibas (sativa strains specifically) & feel sick only half the time now.
